A mixer truck, also known as a concrete mixer truck, is a truck specially used to transport concrete for construction. Due to its appearance, a mixer truck is often called a snail truck or an olive truck. This type of truck is equipped with a cylindrical mixing drum for carrying mixed concrete. During transportation, the mixing drum will always keep rotating to ensure that the concrete does not solidify.
The structure of a mixer truck mainly includes a car chassis and a special device for concrete mixing and transportation. The special device includes a power take-off, front and rear brackets of the mixing drum, a reducer, a hydraulic system, a mixing drum, a control mechanism, a cleaning system, etc. The working principle is to take out the power of the car chassis through the power take-off device, drive the variable pump of the hydraulic system, convert mechanical energy into hydraulic energy, and then transmit it to the quantitative motor, the motor drives the reducer, and the reducer drives the mixing device to mix the concrete.
Mixer trucks are mainly used in places where a large amount of concrete is required, such as construction sites, bridge construction, and road construction. Due to its special mixing function, the mixer truck can ensure that the concrete is evenly mixed during transportation to avoid solidification, thereby ensuring construction quality and efficiency.
